"Education's purpose is to replace an empty mind with an open one."
- Malcolm Forbes
"Educating children and being a positive role model in their daily life is something I take pride in doing everyday as a public school teacher. I feel it is important to teach every child, regardless of their age, can make a difference through volunteering. From writing letters to soldiers stationed overseas, to collecting food for our local food banks, children have the power to make this world a better place. There is nothing more precious than to witness a child who feels accomplished because they made a difference in someone else's life."
